Our Company

OCI Energy is a leader in utility-scale solar and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects. From siting to construction and beyond, we develop cleaner, more sustainable, and reliable energy that helps power the grid. We locate land, connect with landowners, pull all the required permits, conduct all environmental screenings, studies, and testing, create the preliminary design, and advance the project to construction ready.

Our long and successful history in Texas includes projects that are operational, under construction, or under development, and we’re just getting started. OCI Energy is actively expanding across the U.S.

Our award-winning team is driven by a shared belief in the power of renewable energy, creating a greener environment, collaborating with the right partners, engaging with landowners, and giving back to our community.

Global Presence

Through our parent company, OCI Enterprises Inc., we are a subsidiary of OCI Holdings, a global green energy and chemical conglomerate serving 100 countries with a portfolio spanning more than six decades in the fields of clean energy, fine chemicals, urban development, and biopharmaceuticals.

OCI Enterprises established OCI Energy in 2012 and Mission Solar Energy, one of the longest running solar panel manufacturers in America, in 2014. Both are headquartered in San Antonio, TX.

Another affiliated company, OCI Peroxygens, opened its facility in Decatur, Alabama in 2001. The plant manufactures sodium percarbonate products that are safely produced, high quality, and environmentally friendly.
